匆忙 - Expressing "hastily"

匆忙 (cōngmáng) means “hurried”, “in a rush”, or “hastily”. We can divide it in two separate words: 匆 (cōng) = hurried, rushed and 忙 (máng) = busy. Put together, it emphasizes rushing to do something, often without preparation.

Common expressions include: 太匆忙了 — too rushed, 匆忙处理 — deal with (something) hastily, 匆忙地走 — walk hurriedly.
