尽量 (jǐnliàng) is an adverb in Chinese that means "as much as possible" or "to the greatest extent." It’s used to encourage someone to make the best effort or reach their full capacity in doing something, often conveying a sense of maximizing effort or outcome.

While the technically correct pronunciation is "jǐnliàng," you may also hear it pronounced as "jìnliàng." This alternate pronunciation, though traditionally a verb form rather than an adverb, is common among educated native speakers who use "jìnliàng" exclusively to mean "as much as possible."
